Our team

Our team of dynamic trainers has cumulated more than 75 years training experience in the field of hazardous materials and health and safety and training. They have travelled from Victoria, British Columbia to Halifax Nova Scotia and from Baffin Island to Houston, Texas via West Africa to help industries comply with the various regulations.

Bernard Parker, CEO

Bernard ParkerBernard Parker is a highly motivated instructor with more than 30 years experience in training. He transforms the face of HazMat training by making a usually dull subject into something fun and exciting but more importantly efficient. His innovative mind ahs created such classes as WHMIS-Survivor and WHMIS Family-Feud training.

Former regulatory specialist and course design team leader for one of the largest dangerous goods training organizations in Canada he has trained hundreds of students and other trainers from factory workers to armed forces personnel. He is the author of no less than 5 books on the transportation of dangerous goods and one best-seller on the sport of skydiving.

His training expertise is not limited to dangerous goods. Bernard is also a certified trainer with the National Coaching Certification Program (level 2); he was a senior instructor with the Canadian Sport Parachuting Association and is a senior instructor with the Jukido Kung Fu Institute of Laval. In his spare time he likes to light up the sky with his fireworks display firm Pyromania. He is also involved in his community with the scouting movement as trainer-counsellor.

Brigitte Bertrand, coordonator

Brigitte BertrandAfter 20 years in the publication and educational services, Brigitte was ready for a new challenge. She now brings her experience and sense of perfection to the management of our training services. Her joyful personality and dedication to the task brings a smile to everyone and ensures top notch service to our clients.

Jean Therrien, associated trainer

Retired Transport Canada inspector, Jean brings a wealth of experience to the company. A dynamic and knowledgeable instructor, Jean keeps the classroom alive with real life examples during his TDG (ground and air) sessions. His background also includes large packaging standards and environment legislations.

David Bisson, associated trainer

Regulatory specialist and trainer David, despite his young age, has a considerable experience in the application of the various dangerous goods regulations. In the past, he’s held several key positions and in particular that of instructor and consultant for a well known firm in the hazmat industry. His consummate knowledge has given him the opportunity to train our clients in locations as far as West Africa. His expertise includes Canadian TDGR, IATA air regulations as well as the IMDG Code.

Anne Maurice, trainer-consultant

Having worked for more than 25 years with some of the largest courier companies (FedEX, Canpar et UPS), Anne is an experienced transport specialist and her career has brought her in contact with dangerous goods in many various ways. She brings to our team not only her knowledge of transport industry but also her experience in health matters.

Anne will concentrate on our health and safety branch by teaching WHMIS and transport of infectious substances courses. She will also offer her transport and logistics expertise to those clients who can benefit from her experience.
