Employee: WHM-101
WHM-101 is the basic course on the Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS).
Target audience
This training is particularly adapted for employees who handle hazardous materials and require training according to provincial and federal legislation. Its purpose is to familiarize employees with the basic legal requirements and the methods used in WHMIS to identify hazardous materials. It also gives the workers knowledge on how to protect themselves from hazardous products.

- Legal responsibilities;
- Introduction to the regulations;
- Classification of Hazardous Materials (WHMIS categories) and associated risks;
- Material safety data sheets;
- Supplier labels;
- Workplace labels;
- Emergency procedures;
- Exemptions.

Note
Each student receives a training certificate, a WHMIS Pocket-Book and a reference book on material safety data sheets.
Employee: WHM-102 (familiarisation)
Target audience
Employees not in contact with hazardous materials in their daily tasks.

- Workplace labels.

Description
