Training for safe storage of hazardous products
Storage of hazardous products falls under the National Fire Code of Canada (NFCC) and is supervised by the local fire dept. In Quebec, each municipality can impose its own code. However, Quebec legislation requires all flammable liquids to be stored under the requirements of NFPA-30 code (1996). Soon to be enacted legislation will require compliance with the NFCC.
